Review of Think and Grow Rich
How can a book published in 1937 on becoming rich be relevant today? A pretty obvious question, correct? I will just say the principle of flying an aircraft hasn't changed from the first flight of the Wright Brothers to today's most advanced jets.
As you have gone through the above thirteen steps, you will not discover anything naive. Because every now and then we come across these types of words in form of motivational videos or listening to any successful person interview like Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos. So is it worth my time? Will I find anything new?
These questions were coming to me as well. Then I research the author. That's why I included it in my article along with a snap of a few people which he interviewed in a span of twenty years.
Now if I narrow it down to binary terms: The principles used by successful people in the era of Napolean hill are the same as today!. Meaning, at the root level nothing has changed. There is still a requirement of persistence, valuing the subconscious mind, and other steps discussed in the book.
If Intelligent Investor is the bible of Investing then Think and grow rich is the bible of self-help books. From my experience, I am saying,
"If you get a chance to read a person's work who was a pioneer in his field then pick it up without having a second thought."
This book is effective if we apply these principles in our life. I think this book is a good read.
